XP Power has been accepted as an Applicant Member of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC), a collaboration of leading electronics companies that promotes an industry code of conduct for global supply chains to improve working and environmental conditions.
The power conversion products designed and manufactured by XP Power "bridge" electricity utility companies and consumers converting energy from the grid and providing it in a form that can be used by electronic equipment. XP Power is therefore uniquely positioned to make a real contribution to energy efficiency and emissions reduction. The company leads the power conversion industry in terms of product efficiency.
XP Power has introduced many high efficiency and low standby-power products in recent years. (Standby power is the energy consumed by the power converter when the equipment it powers is idle and not operating.)
As an Applicant Member of the EICC, XP Power fully supports the vision and goals of the EICC:
XP Power is committed to progressively aligning its own operations with the provisions of the EICC code of conduct and to supporting and encouraging its own first-tier suppliers to do the same.
Wherever possible, XP Power seeks to adopt the EICC approach and tools in practical ways, in the spirit of the industry's common goals.
